From an earlier Oppo discussion, we discovered that is a 16 cylinder, 8 bank, two-stoke radial. Each set of pistons shared a combustion chamber, and that's why you only see eight plugs and eight exhaust ports.

I was going to say that it looked like it needed a speed ring or something. It does look better with the cowl.
